    rayhaan released this 2026-10-04 20:48:08 +00:00 | 61 commits to main since this release

    The first release in production use, as the BGP router of AS210036.

    • Graceful restart (RFC 4724, RFC 8538), on by default: a restarting
      peer's routes are kept, stale, until it has sent them again; and the
      daemon restarts for an upgrade on SIGUSR1 with its routes left in the
      kernel and kept by its peers. End-of-RIB sent and received.
    • Rejected routes keep the path attributes they came with, shown on the
      status page and in /api/routes/rejected.
    • Blackhole requests (RFC 7999) are rejected under a reason of their
      own, whatever their length.
    • Status page: rejected announcements counted as such, rows highlighted,
      and AS numbers named on hover (looked up by the browser).
    • jemalloc as the memory allocator, and scripts/build-static.sh for a
      static x86_64 Linux executable.
    • A documentation website (docs/, built with Zola), with configuration
      examples checked in CI.
    • No colour codes in the log when it does not go to a terminal.
